A handmade 18-liter leather backpack made to the highest standards.
The body is made from 2mm thick full-grain Italian waxed leather, and the straps are made from 5mm thick, full-grain Cretan veg-tan leather.
Every cut edge has been burnished to give an excellent finish and protection from water ingress while every stitch is hand-stitched with durable waxed thread and artificial sinew while saddlers copper rivets are added to stress points like corners to keep everything extra strong and durable!
Even tho the main body leather is already waxed and waterproof I add an extra layer of natural beeswax mixture to improve its resistance to the elements.
Attention to detail and quality has its price in time, one of these bags takes about 45 hours to make.

The waxed leather is better protected from the elements but note that it will make the leather slightly darker,
Also in crazy-horse leather, it will give it a more matte/uniform finish because it will remove much of the visible
texture from scuffs and scratches, with use this texture will be visible again and give the leather its unique look back.
This bag is made from Cognac-colored leather but can also be made from the brown leather I have available as seen in the last picture.
